John Kerry (news - web sites) held a brief, secretive meeting with potential running mate John Edwards (news - web sites) on Tuesday, a spur-of-the-moment session in the Capitol that capped an unusual day of hurry-up-and-wait in the heavily scripted life of the Democratic presidential candidate.

It's amazing how pathetic John Kerrys poltics are that when he has a so called "secretive" meeting that everyone on the fucking planet knows about it.

Next to Bush, this guy has run such a horrible campaign that he might actually squeak by and win because he's just a smidge stupider than Bush. Plus he's got a horrible droning speaking voice going for him.

Somebody on this board (honestly can't remember who, and I'm too lazy to search for it) wrote a post criticizing Kerry for missing Senate votes. Finally, he's in Washington to vote and the Republicans purposely delay voting on a bill on veterans health care just so John Kerry can't say he voted on it. This is bullshit. If you are going to pull this kind of shit, you can pick different fucking issues than this to play around with.

And, BTW, the writer of this article has written some of the most asinine, useless, partisan articles I have ever seen under the guise of straight news. Compared to her other shit, this article is Pulitzer Prize winning material.

Why is it bullshit to talk about the actual art of campaigning and the way in which the two front runner candidates are acting thus far?

You may want to talk about whatever issue you want. However why would what you want to talk about be more relevant in discussion from what someone else on the board talks about?

This was the topic I chose to talk about. If you want to talk about those things then make a thread about it.

Why is it shocking that he wants to keep this decision and the process secret? If he doesn't go with Edwards, he wouldn't want people focusing on this meeting or that meeting, and what behind the scenes stuff happened, etc etc etc etc.

The scuttle seems to be that Kerry and many of the older school Democrats like and respect Dick Gepheardt, but the "Bill Clinton" wing of the party, and those that REALLY want to win, see Edwards as the best choice.

Ultimately, though we don't know and won't know until he tells us.
