as for the open, I knew tiger was going to do bad. he has been hack since he fired his hitting coach. Also, with his new found chick, I think he is much less dedicated to practice than before. he misses to many fairways, and this is a tight course. Maybe he will change something and play a nice round today, but I think within this year, he will miss his first cut.

Watch out for Rateif Goosen (sp.?). I think he way have a big day today and really set himself up nice for the weekend.

All you can hope for is tiger to make a charge and keep phil on top. That would be a great sunday, that would make me watch.

As for the open in a different sense, living out towards the east end here, its god awful. Tons of people just driving around with there heads up there asses not having a clue. Traffic is a joke and the police just sit around not doing anything but pulling people over for cell phone use instead of directing some traffic.

i'm pissed at myself for not working this open, since i have a good relationship with ridgewells.

when i worked bethpage black, i got to see ells, woods, dailey, and mickelson play the 9th. plus the first day i saw tiger on the driving range and leaving i saw him entering the club house with the trophy.

I just got in from the open. It was a beautiful day for golf. The greens were insanely fast, a perfect turned into a perfect shot that ended up in a bunker. MIckelson seemed like he had it till the 17th when he completely bombed it and 3 putted what could have been a relatively easy birdie or par. I was at that green and everyone was really really pulling for him. In the end it was a decent day, except for long island fucking traffic.

I actually did not get a chance to watch to much of it due to fathers day and having to tutor. But when I saw the highlights and Mickelson missing those 2 puts, first I thought was "choke artist". then I though "at least snoogans will be happy"

It is interesting to note that no one is talking about how he choked (which he obviously did) ever since he won the Masters. One tourney and he gets a free pass? He pulled a typical Mickelson Sunday yesterday, and if he has not one the Masters, people would be ON HIS BACK today.
