Well, given his recent no-shows, it was only a matter of time... in a strange way, I'll actually miss him.
From pwtorch.com:
Chavo Guerrero Sr., known as Chavo Classic on WWE TV, was released today. Management grew frustrated with his rejecting of recent storyline ideas to inject more humor into the broadcasts. Chavo Sr. apparently felt management was pushing things too far, trying to humiliate him, such as suggesting he parade around on TV in women's underwear.
He missed both Smackdown house shows this weekend, apparently unexcused absenses, which was the final straw.
It's not clear what this means to the status of the Cruiserweight Title, since Chavo Sr. held that title until being released.

I'm glad for two reasons. I'm glad that Chavo Sr. decided that he wasn't going to be exploited and I'm glad I won't have to see the WWE use him to ruin the Cruiserweight Division.

This may be the end of the CW division.

Even if you're displeased with something, you still don't no-show two house shows without calling.

It's a shame too. I liked the "Chavo Classic" name. He showed how to really perform in the ring, to work a good show with any partner and to involve the crowd...all without being a "hoss" or aerial acrobatics. He seemed a real class act. I have to hope this doesn't foreshadow actions of the other Guerrero's....as I'd really hate to see Eddie go.

Now I'm starving
I'm about to turn it up a notch!
*********Chavo Classic Spoiler **********
Classic dropped the belt to Rey Mysterio @ the Smackdown tapings yesterday, I didn't think he was gonna be around anymore, I guess this was a last match so he could drop the title.
peace

It was probably all part of a scheme made up by Tom Pritchard. He used Chavo Classic to bring down the Cruiserweight Division. Looks like the title will still be around.

I dunno, I actually liked him. To me, with the history of the Guerrero family name, and the fact that he and so many in the family made a legacy, plus the fact that he was so funny, is gonna have me missing him. To me, he was the Mexican Ric Flair. You'll be missed Chavo Classic, you'll be missed.
