If I knew a place that stayed open, I would have considered picking it up at midnight last night.
<a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/">you could get it here</a>

And so begins the Golden Age.
Seasons 4-6 are perfect.
And season 2 of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" comes out today, too.

Got it at 10:00 am yesterday and as soon as I got back to my office threw disc 3 in my laptop to hear the commentary for the Monorail episode because Conan O'Brien was supposed to be on it. but he wasn't. They did talk about him a lot. I am listening to Disc 2's "New Girl" episode, he's on that one.
Is Conan on any other tracks?
I still don't have the 2nd or 3rd seasons. Best Buy had $10 off if you got two sets at once, but they were out of season 3.

Got them both yesterday. Great bonus matierial on THE SIMPSONS. If they average releasing 2 seasons on DVD a year, it will take them to their 25th season to get caught up. Whew!
I am going to have to table some of my purchases, though - it's getting to be too, too, too much. Either that or I'm going to need a new job just to keep up with all of the DVDs coming out now.
Still - what's up with a 2nd season of CURB, yet no second seasons of LARRY SANDERS???

It's probably because the first season of "The Larry Sanders Show" was perhaps THE worst quality DVD I've ever seen. The picture quality was absolutely horrendous. It looked like you were watching the show on a night your cable connection was struck by lightning.

The second track commentary started on Season 3--The Michael Jackson episode and at least one other. It was either Al Jean or Mike Reiss (I can't tell their voices apart)
The reason they've been taking so long is because of the commentaries, making a second one with one person is the solution. Then everyone doesn't have to be in the same place at the same time. This makes sense for Conan.

I picked up the Simpsons Season 4 plus the Curb Season 2 DVDs today for $30 a piece. Both DVDs are PERFECT seasons and I love them equally.
Season 4 of the Simpsons may be my 2nd favorite, only behind Season 5. I still consider myself a huge fan of the show, even though I haven't seen a new episode on Sunday in probably 2 years. However, these DVDs remind me why I loved The Simpsons, it was just so damn clever and funny.

Make sure to check out the commentary for A Streetcar named Marge. Jon Lovitz is in it, and the whole thing is hilarious.
It's a shame Phil Hartman isn't around to do these. Everytime they bring him up they always talk about how wonderful and funny he is.
It's also a shame that Dan Castelleneta didn't do any audio tracks this time around. He was always fun. On the other hand, I'm glad Julie Kavner and Yeardley Smith aren't on any of them. They seemed to always derail the commentaries.

Funny thing about that is they said Conan was in NY while the rest of the Simpsons crew was in CA doing the commentary (I'm guessing over some kind of ISDN line. Like they use on radio talk shows sometimes to let guests do many radio shows without travling to studio, but also to not have them sound like they just called in)
Conan joked that he was actually in the middle of filming his talk show and had just asked Al Roker to hold on while he does an audio commentary. He then made fun of Roker a few more times during the commentary. He also mentioned his boner, and touching him self. Good thing the commentary track had a disclaimer!

Agree 100%.
Are some the redundancies from the first 3 still around? Do they tell that actually touring a Nuclear power plant story again. If I have to hear it 1 more time, i'm going to shoot myself.
