PS2 Question

I have VerizonOnline and I was wondering if I can hook it up to my PS2 and play online? Do I need to buy some adapter thing?

u need to get the network adapter. oh, and i suggest getting Socom Navy Seals 2 along with it. Best game online.

And then I can just plug in the ethernet or uSB cable or w/e from the modem and thats it?

BTW, one more question, can I trade in a broken PS2 for a new one and just pay the difference? DO they (video game store guys) even ask if its broken or check it?

I'm sure they check it if you're trading it in. You might be able to get some credit for it, but you'll still be paying most of the value of a PS2. You can find a used one for pretty cheap at some video game shops or on eBay. (be careful if you go with eBay, check feedback carefully, look for other video game sales and many happy costomers.)

I have a PS2 but no network adapter, I think I'd like one, but I don't play games very much.

Either Gamestop or EB will give you some credit for a broken PS2. I can't remember which one. Probably Gamestop.

Your cheapest option would probably be to turn in your broken PS2 for a credit and purchase a reconditioned one from them.

I suggest checking ebgames.com for info like that man. They usually inform you on everything on their site. But anyway, what games will you play on there? When I get one I think I'll play NBA 2k3 and 2k4. Best basketball series to date.

Well I gotta get a new one before Madden 2005 comes out...then theres GTA a couple months after that...I still havent finished playing ASB 2005 or ESPN Basketball which is really NBA 2k5...oh and Ill probably get Hitman Contracts also.

OK, well I got the network adapter today and Im like...really confused. It only has an outlet for the phone line, not an ethernet or USB cable...so....could someone just explain this to me, since Im not exactly knowledgible with this kind of stuff...
