Well, this means the end of hockey for a while. Unless they decide to agree before the CBA locks them out for nxt season. (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/hockey/nhl/06/10/award.winners/index.html)

So the Devils may not have Lord Stanleys cup to hold over their heads but we can at least claim we have the best goaltender and defensemen. (Neidermayer taking the Norris took me by a HUGE surprise) I really thought it was gonna go to Pronger.
Still have some pride.
And Jerome Iginla really impressed me with how he carried himself and I also learned how many charaties he donates to. My hat's off to him. He earned some respect.

Raycroft deserved the rookie of the year award. Solid season.

how the hell does Iginla only win a king clancy? what team relied more on any one player and got as far as calgary? martin st. louis is good but richards carried them in the offseason. i dont care if t.b. wins the cup, iginla had the best all around season. has anyone ever seen st. louis throw a check? iginla is as good on defence as he is on O.

I too was a bit surprised that Niedermayer won the Norris but then I remembered how much he picked up his game this year when Stevens got hurt and I wasn't so surprised. I didn't think Niedermayer's game couldn't get any better but it did.

Raycroft winning the Calder surprised me too. I thought Michael Ryder should have won it.

Draper and St. Louis picked up their games this year so I was expecting them to win the Selke and Hart respectively.

Ryder did have an awesome rookie season, but Andrew had the 6th best GAA in the NHL, 10th in wins and 5th in SV%.
