outside NY, the Yankees are hated. I didn't realize it until i traveled outside of NY. I've been to Boston (obviously i know they hate the yanks yes) but also Minneapolis and especially Chicago hates the yanks as well. they think everyone from NY is a cocky yankee fan...for some reason in those cities, they were OK with the fan I was a Met fan, which is strange because the Mets beat Boston in 1986....when I asked why that didn't bother them in Boston as much, they said "you have to live with the Yankees in the same town..

In fact, the Globetrotters have lost 332 games over the course of 72 years. However, with nearly 20,000 wins, the Globetrotters do own the best winning percentage in the history of professional sports. The last time the team lost was Sept. 12, 1995, in Vienna, Austria, when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's Legendary All-Stars upset the Globetrotters 91-85 and made headlines around the world. The game was part of a special "Ultimate Challenge Tour" against Jabbar's team, with the Globetrotters winning 10 of 11 games against the NBA legend. This loss ended on 8,829 game win streak.

Prior to the 1995 setback, the last Globetrotter loss was on January 5, 1971, in Martin, Tennessee, when the New Jersey Reds edged the Globetrotters 100-99 in overtime. The loss ended a 2,496-game winning streak.

I'm with stupid! I think it is neck and neck however with the Yanks and the cowboys but for different reasons.
When the Yanks get hated it is because of the boston fans and also they Yanks always seem to win. Some people get bored of that and decide to hate the Yanks for simply winning. (like my soon-to-be-dis-inherited brother)
The cowboys however, are hated because in their heyday of the 90's they smacked of smugness and attitude. With Tom Landry as coach you never saw that in those cowboys. Roger Staubach was VERY humble. With Troy Aikmen and Michael (ouch I hurt my vagina) Irvin it was all about attitude. GOD I hated that team. I was laughing along with the rest of Philly when I watched him bounce off of his head. (one of the only times I ever agreed with Philly fans by the way)

I'm from Chicago, I've been a Cubs fan all my life, and more of us hate the damn WHITE SOX before we could even bother giving a shit about the Yankees. We've only had, what, TWO World Series shots in the last half a century? That's the only place we'd have a reason to hate the Yankees...and we're smart enough to wait until the Cubs actually get there to bother hating the Yankees. Otherwise the two teams just haven't crossed over enough for us to even care, you filthy, filthy lying animal that lies.

And to answer the original poll, the Cowboys SHOULD be the most hated if they're not. "America's team" my fuckin' SAC.
