I know in the midst of tragedy and horror some people might be looking for escape and I figured some people might want to see this.

On September 22nd and 23rd the BAM Rose Cinema on 30 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn will be playing The Godfather at 2, 5:20 and 8:50. The 29th they'll be airing The Godfather 2 at 4 and 8 and on the 30th The Godfather 3 at 2, 5:10 and 8:20.

I just figured some people might want to know, leave reality for 3 hours and see a great fucking movie.

I would totally go to this, but Brooklyn is a tad too far for me just to go see a movie. I'll settle for the dvd in October.

I saw it tonight and GOD what an awesome movie. It just moves along so quickly, the three hours seem like no time at all. And, though it doesn't need to be said, seeing any movie on a big screen improves it greatly especially this one. This is one of those few movies you can just watch again and again. Definitely worth a big screen viewing.

I'm resurrecting a very old thread but this seemed like the right place to post this.

The Godfather Trilogy on blue-ray for $17.99. I think it's for one day only.
