Someone want to explain to me how Method mad and Red man (both related in somehow BTW) get there own Tv show that looks like a really really bad movie soneone put out? How in gods name do they pull Futurama, and The family Guy, and keep King of the rednecks on and throw on this stupid crap that only UPN network would maybe blink an eye about (which is also owned by FOX)? I mean honestly, what person wants to watch a sicom about 2 black guys causing a rucus if I may put it that way, in there whitey neighborhood? Ill take bets right now on how long that show lasts, I give it ONE show, or will FOX be that stupid and keep this crap on?

If it dies on fox, it will be resurrected on UPN. I think it may actually do well. A lot of (here comes a blanket, semi-racist statement) black people watch fox due to American Idol. They will support this show. I have a feeling it may not bomb as bad as you think.

Oh Jesus.

Of all the prime-time animated series that are on, on ANY network, you pick probably the two WORST to be a fan of.

Yeah but Ray Romano was never funnier then the squiggly, animated psycho Dr. Katz patient. Mooseport? Thats already out on DVD that was such a Shark Sandwich. The psycho 'Fix Me!' Ray was great.

He was a lot more animated back then.

Buncha fuckin' savages in this town.

I'll bet you all think "The Critic" was somehow "great," and not the cancel-worthy show it was from episode 1.

I think the real question is why does Fox keep giving Andy Richter shows?

I'm going to agree with Mojo that King of the Hill is worth watching. There's enough Beavis and Butthead and Office Space in that show, it's just a little more subtle.

But i'm going to piss him off too, and say that I loved the Critic. "The pilot's a penguin? And he's been drinking?"

I'm going to start used the word Earth as a verb. It actually sounds like something angry and/or disguisting as used in the title.

Like a "Family Guy" fan has a leg to stand on.

Family Guy is at least three times better than every other show mentioned in this thread COMBINED.

I'll be watching new episodes of that show while you're suffering through the same tired and unfunny Futurama eps on DVD.

I went from hating "Family Guy" to tolerating it to loving it to hating it all over again. I've seen every episode at least three times each...and it has nothing left. Not a damn thing. And here's WHY..."Family Guy" is the kind of show that "The Simpsons" has become and everyone says "sucks"...namely, a show that ONLY goes for the wacky or cheap shot, and there's absolutely NOTHING below the surface.

Zip.

Zilch.

Nada.

"Family Guy" is the animated equivalent of a "shock jock," and it has zero staying power.

Seth's new show is going to tank even faster than his first.

I'm not going to try and convice you "Futurama" is better, but I'm just basing on the fact I can see the same "Futurama" episode like three times in one week and still enjoy something new each time, but I see one episode of "Family Guy" at this point and I'm sick of it for at least 6 months.

There's NO depth, no heart, no emotion...nothing. I don't want anything touchy-feely...but that show is completely dead inside...which is the SAME primary complaint now levelled at "The Simpsons."

God bless KOTH fans.

Se7en should just be happy I found a conservative blowhard on Fox I can tolerate...and even enjoy!

And I don't think "The Critic" is awful...just not nearly as good as everyone thought it was. It really picked up in its second year, and I probably would have really enjoyed it if it kept going for a couple more seasons. Oh well.

Cartoon Network has pretty much sucked my enjoyment from both Family Guy and Futurama. I've seen every episode of both way more than 3 times each...

Wow. I remember there was a bit of a discussion about The Critic in this thread. I just got the first disc of it through netflix. Not nearly as good as I remember it, but it was the first bunch of episodes and that has a lot to do with it.

I always remember watching episodes at midnight on Sundays on Comedy Central. But they always seemed to play the same 5 episodes over and over again. And none of those episodes were on the first disc. I'm going to have to get the other 2 discs to watch.

And the commentary? I guess i'm spoiled by the Simpsons cause the fact that it's not for every episode bothers me. Although they seem to be more about the Simpsons than about the actual show. And every one ends with Maurice LaMarche doing his Jon Lovitz impression.

Although it does have episode with the Orson Wells impression that still makes me laugh.

First season was on ABC. They dumped it, the show was then retooled and shown on Fox.
