Spielberg doing another "Band of Brothers"!!!

Well, kinda.

I don't have a link or anything, but I saw him being interviewed by CNN this morning during the D-Day memorial, and he said that he and Tom Hanks are working on another WW2 mini-series for HBO called "Pacific" that's going to deal with, of course, the Pacific theater of operations like BOB did in Europe.

He didn't say whether it was going to be based on a book or true-life soldiers like BOB, but still...

Fantastic! I had always thought they should just keep doing series like this since there's SO much they could cover with WW2...I'm officially giddy with excitment!

I love the show and am personally wishing for a sequel. Full of action and suspensefully written, he also humanizes the characters well and develops them excellently. The battles as far as I know, are historically accurate. And yes my ron&fez sn refers to it.
