i heard an old O&A show way back when they first came to wnew, and opie was actually PRAISING creed. talk about cringe radio. i dunno, i guess he had to praise it or something, but i remember that was about the time when rock music on the radio just took a dive and never came back up.

this news does nothing for me. i dont listen to the radio or watch music videos anymore. now, if they all died in a bus crash, that'd be GREAT. provided everyone else survived intact.

one of the commedians, early in o&a's wnew run, told a great creed story ....

the lead singer's wife was in nyc with a group of friends at a comedy show ... the wife started heckling the comic and causing a stir, the comedian put her in her place by asking, "does your husband fuck like eddie vedder too ...?"

i realize taste in music is a very subjective thing, but there is that one percent that is absolutely dreck -- just pure unmitigating shit ... now i just need to pray even harder to make limp biscuit fade away ...

Oh, and SHOCKER that O&A liked and played shitty music...it's not like I couldn't tell from their playing of at least a dozen shitty nu-metal songs during each of their shows...once you heard the Rage clip, it was all downhill from there, musically-speaking...

I personally am glad this happend. I'll be honest, the first cd they came out with was great. I still listen to it alot. They had a bunch of great, pretty fresh, hard rock songs. But after that, the next 2 cds were either 1 song watered down and played differently 13 other times or songs intended for the sole purpose of making top 40 stations.
