O'Reilly Cancels - 6/3 - DCRTV hears that Bill O'Reilly's Friday evening appearance at DC's Lisner Auditorium has been canceled. No word on why the event was axed, but we'll guess that not enough people were willing to pay the $20 ticket charge. The Fox News commentator's radio show is heard locally on WJFK-FM from noon to 2 PM.....

Hopefully this will be a sign of good things to come here in DC!!!

"Mort! Mort! Mort!" was so much more entertaining and lively than O'Reilly EVER thought he would be. And, unlike the crop of righty talkers today, Downey actually admitted mistakes - a perfect example was when he went on an on air crusade against "The Last Temptation Of Christ" before seeing it, and after he saw it, came back and said he was wrong.

WOW! Who would have the stones to do that today?! Not O'Liar!

Yeah, he that whole Nazi thing proved him to be a bit of a phony once the attention got too much and he kept having to out do himself, but he was the first person ever to put NAMBLA on the national stage and expose what they were up to, he was the first to tell liberals and conservatives that they were simply puking up "pablum," he made red socks popular, he could tell someone to "Zip It!" better than Dr. Evil, and he made it fun to scream and yell and chant a hosts name on a talk show.

Springer is the real heir to Mort than O'Reilly, in my opinion. BO comes across as a boring, tired and angry old man who isn't even enjoying what he's doing. Mort didn't get that way until after he lost his show.
