I'm working on a project and I really need to find one of those classic action movie/show scenes where somebody is rolling out of a moving car. Ya know, like a tuck and roll situation. Does anyone have any suggestions?

In Raiders of the Lost Ark when Indy is chasing the truck full of Nazi's with his horse and then jumps on to the truck there were people flying outta the truck left and right- but I'm not sure if any were voluntary.
For extra credit you could go with Patriot Games where Agent Jack Ryan voluntary threw himself off the boat before it crashed into a rock and then did the tuck and roll on water.
My brain hurts now.

When Homer steals Moe's car (at his insistence) he rolls out of the car only to roll back in at the last moment.

In the movie The Chase with Charlie Sheen and Christie Swanson there's a pretty funny scene where while they're being chased there's a truck with corpses that keep dropping out of the back on to the busy highway. It's funny, has rolling bodies, and is morbidly horrific all at once.

Thinking about this, I came to realize something. Between Glimmer Man and Exit Wounds Double S does a lot or tuck and rolls out of the back of upside down vehicles.

::racking my brain::
shit. I got nothing.
theres Gotta be someone rolling out of a car in the slew of Burt Reynolds car chase/stunt guy movies.
Only scene that keeps coming to my mind is the original Invisible Man, when he tells Kent exactly how hes going to go off a cliff in the car. That movie still blows me away.
Did you know the young chick who is in love with the Invisible Man is the old chick from Titanic?
And why cant I remember the name?

In "City Slickers" the cook dives out of his wagon before it goes over the cliff.
In "Thelma and Louise" the ladies go over a cliff. I assume that since the top was down, there's a good chance the bodies left the car at some point.

They used to have it in episodes of Starsky and Hutch. Don't think it was in the movie, though.

Watch Conan every night and chances are you'll eventually find a shot of Chuck Norris rolling out of a car when he pulls the "Walker Texas Ranger" Lever.

Is anything better than Indy being dragged by his whip, then climbing back on to kick some Nazi ass in "Raiders"?

Well, like in life, I failed! But I do have 4 movies that maybe had them in them (I call them "The Questionables"!!):
*Batman- didn't at one point he jump out of the car and roll around with his cape in sort of a reverse roll and tuck maneuver? I could be wrong- thus it's a Questionable.
*Midnight Run- Come on. Between DeNiro, the other Bounty Hunter, and Charles Grodin, I'm thinkin' we've got at least four or five solid John Ford-style D.O.T. 'N' R.'s. Again, though, not positive- a Questionable.
*Sleepy Hollow- don't they throw themselves off the wagon at the end? Even though I own it, I haven't seen the film while not chemically impaired thus it's a.......... Questionable!!
*The Untouchables- I seem to recall some scene having a triple-lindy T 'N' R but like the wind-strung streets of Chicago's badlands in the 30's, my memory is foggy. Thus the film that inspired the name- The Untouchables is The Questionables

I just watched "Midnight Run" a few nights ago and I don't recall any jumps out of a car, but they did jump out of a moving train so as not to get caught at the station when the train stopped.

i knew I could count on you guys, you're the best. It looks like Blockbuster may be making a killing off me tonight. The only thing I have with me here today is Wet Hot American Summer so I may cut it together using the scene of the kid being thrown from the van. I was thinking a little more 70's though.
Do video stores rent television compilations, such as Starsky and Hutch or CHIPS (if they've even released either of those yet)?
Oh, and where do babies come from?

I've seen the Sopranos compilations at Blockbuster, so the answer is yes. The Starsky and Hutch compilation came out last week, so they should have it.

In happier times, .babies came from tubtown. You know, every time i get off the phone and sign on again, I have to unplug and replug a different phone line and this is a pain in my ass. I know by writing this that i will have to edit this message again but i just thought you should know that this is how awful my life is that i do this stupid shit that at most three people understand.
ps. both cats are dead. sorry

awful?
Things don't seem so awful through the tumbleweeds of tubtown. The kittens weren't diving out the back of a moving car were they? They're no good at the tuck & roll b/c their too busy trying to land on their feet. which is a roundabout way of saying sorry.
