Sting and the WWE

For a long time, wrestling fans have wanted to see Sting debut in the WWE. In an interview with IGN, Sting himself said that it almost happened. He was supposed to debut at WrestleMania 19 after the Rock vs. Austin match. Unfortunatley, he could not agree with Vince on a limited schedule. Now according to reports across the web, Sting may finally be getting a chance with the WWE. Apparently there have been talks between Vince and Sting to work out a schedule that would be okay for Sting. If this does work out, what brand would you like to see Sting on and what do you think his role should be?

He should be on smackdown but the matches everyone wants to see is on raw.

Sure, put him on SD! as strictly a special attraction. I've never really been one who was ever into the Sting thing (his "Crow" gimmick was interesting at first, but when they allowed him to start talking and stop brooding, I lost interest again). But I really wish WWe would stop looking at established stars who are years past their prime and start looking at some of the younger guys who are starting to catch people's attention and can work a regular schedule.

It's obvious they'll go with the Crow gimmick, but WCW killed that after a year and a half by having an awful ending to the Sting/Hogan match. And then Sting went to "teh suck" because they didn't know where to go from there.

I'd love to see a return to the "Surfer" Sting gimmick on Smackdown... but I see the Crow or Wolfpac sting coming back, if he does indeed return. And Smackdown needs someone like him desperately. They need a name. And no, Konnan is not the name they need.

If they decide on bringing sting back, i'm hoping its the crow gimmick but do not allow him to speak and go Wooooo or whatever scream thing he does
