Saw many bands at Zappa's, especilly The Ramones, Johnny Thunders and David Jo. I remember one night at a Ramones show it was over 100 degrees and there was a huge fan to the right of the stage. I grabbed it like King Kong and people were begging me to point the fan in their direction. I also remember the disco next door and the brawls we would get into with the "Disco Boys".
I think it was called "Fantasy Island".
Too bad I can't make the reunion, that's the night Crankcase is playing at The Wicked Monk in Bay Ridge. Good luck and have fun.
