What did you do at your senior prom? After your senior prom? I had the best night of my life...it was last night so...anyway...I had no date so I danced with a whole bunch of different girls...we went to Copacabana too..that was fun...first time in my life I've ever stayed up all night...no lie

I didn't go to mine. But i did get to hear all the lame stories about how the food sucked,etc.

mine sucked. the only good part was the drunken walk home from my dates house. i couldn't go right back to my parents so i walked home at about 6 in the morning. my date sucked and most of the evening sucked. i dated the girl i went with, but broke up a few weeks earlier. had already paid for most of the crap, so we were going no matter what. i was into another girl who was a year younger, but was going to the prom with another guy. i tried making a switch, because they were just friends, but didn't go over so well. he didn't know if he could find a replacement for her. me and her dated right afterwards and it would have made the night so much better. but the Vodka was great that night.

I went to my girlfriends prom instead of my own. It sucked. I hated her friends and Im not into dancing and all that shit. We ended up dropping everyone of at some club after and me and my girlfriend just drove around in the limo for a while and then went home. I was home by 1 am- which is just how I wanted it.

I lost credit in my senior year of high school so I was forbidden from attending.
My loser ass didn't have a date anyway. =)

I went to two proms in two nights back-to-back (hers then mine). I had a better time at her prom, but that might just be because I was dead tired the second night. Both nights we went into the city. First night to a club. Dancing & drinking. Second night we went to a small comedy club. the comics sucked. But all in all, I had a good time.
And I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my dad for fronting me two prom's worth of cash.

I actually went to my prom stag, because the filthy buck-toothed whore I was supposed to go with backed out for no reason whatsoever a week before. Then my grandmother died the same week.
Bad times.
However, post-prom was fun and exciting.

I cleaned up at my prom. Post prom that is...
what I mean is in the post-prom party raffles I won all of the major prizes including:
a double water bed (which I love sleeping on to this day),
a mini-refrigerator,
an alarm clock,
and a crate of trashy romance novels signed by various authors which I have not touched and still plan on selling on ebay at some point.
Oh and at my junior prom I won the $500 scholarship.
And no I didn't rig any of this I just lucked out.

the prom itself sucked major ass, the music sucked and i hate dancing anyway. i think i slow danced with my then b/f (ex now) like twice.
the best part was the weekend in wildwood with all my friends and the b/f even though i had a fever. it was 5 girls and 3 men in this hotel room, there were two beds and a sofa bed (which we had to sleep on and it actually was the most comfortable bed in the place) just being able to bascially do whatever we want and have the boardwalk so close was so great. the weather was the only shitty thing about the whole weekend.
i say to any highschoolers that are thinking of going to their prom, skip it and go right to the beach :)

Well My prom sucked, mostly because of the DJ, who was playing horrible music. We all got a prom video, and at the end of it you can see me dancing with a friend. I look so bored and unentertained. It was the end of the night and I just couldn't wait for the after party.
After party rocked hardcore. Tons of alcohol, smoke, and big bonfire, hot tub, pool. I picked the right party to crash.

Never went to any when in school; instant karma kicked my ass; i chaperoned 15 proms.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15
Historically; the Prom as 'greatest night of the year'; like any event, can not be planned. I watch the ladies plan for days; get out early to get the hair done, nails, tan, dress, makeup...
And two hours later that are wearing a tuxedo jacket from their date, who is now a soaking mass of sweat; jacket gone, tie gone, all buttons unbuttoned with his shirt untucked and so wet you can see right to the t-shirt, if he was smart enough to wear one, food and drink stains showing up already...
and her? The hair is now flat, the dress dirty, the heels gone, the make-ups run, shes sweating too, and half the couples are fighting.
Go expecting a great night? youll be disappointed.
Go expecting nothing? you may actually have fun and watch everyone else sweat.

I didn't go... functions that require you to play dress-up are a major turn-off to me. I did go to the post-prom parties during my junior and senior years, though.
The only time I will ever wear a dress is on my wedding day... so essentially, never.

I went to two proms... one was with a 'friend' Diane who lived across the street from me and we were in the same class. The other was to Sonia's prom, a girl with whom i was dating.

I had a great time at prom. I went stag, so I danced with every girl I wanted and I didnt have to worry about keeping tabs on anyone.
All the after-parties sucked however, but I still had a great time.

i didnt go to my senior prom, but i did go with someone else to theirs... the prom itself was pretty uneventful. it's probably more fun if you're at your own prom, where you know people. after, we went on a boat thing, which was kind of fun. then i got home at about 5am and had to be at school at like 7:30. fun times.

I didn't go to mine. Instead, a bunch of us went to see a friends band play at Lamour's Rock Club in Brooklyn. Then, we sat at our HS bleachers and talked about how pathetic our lives were as the sun came up. Good times indeed. :|

Really? My prom was liast year and we went to Copacabana after and I was more than a little disappointed. We took a party bus, not a limo so we had 40 people there. I wanted to go to a comedy club, but Copacabana prevailed. To summarize, we had to escort the girls to the lavatory if they needed to use it.

It wasn't bad. The memory is still fresh being it was last weekend. The after prom stuff was fun, but I ended up getting sick from something down the shore. I had a double eye infection, a double ear infection and the begginings of bronchitis. Fun stuff ehh? Good thing I'm all better though. :)
