I hear a lot of wrestlers on Smackdown saying that the reason people feel that Smackdown is a second rate show is becasue RAW has all the established superstars and Smackdown is just trying to settle in. It's been several years since Smackdown started and only a year and a half I think since the brand split. To me, that's plenty of time for a brand to esetablish itself. For a time, Smackdown was pretty entertaining. I'm talking about when the Smackdown Six dominated the tag team division. Now there practically is no tag team division. The Cruiserweights were supposed to be exclusive to Smackdown. Hurricane went to RAW and look at him now. Tajiri is over on RAW. He may get an eventual IC title belt run, but who knows. Lance Storm was on RAW and he was a great Cruiserweight on Smackdown. The problem with Smackdown is that they have no heels and no really big group of stlyed wrestlers such as the Crusierweights to really make them differnent from Smackdown. It's really pathetic. On top of all that, they're creative director is the boss's daughter. Why not let it be Paul Heyman? He did a great job with storylines for wrestlers. He needs to be back in the fold. Hell, I'll even give credit to Foley for the stuff he did on RAW a couple of months ago when he was on. That stuff wasn't bad.
Basically what Smackdown needs is two things:
1. A division that distinguishes them from RAW like a stronger tag team division because I know that Vince hates Cruiserweights.
2. New Creative Staff. This one pretty much goes for the WWE, but Smackdown needs it more than RAW considering RAW has been pretty entertaining lately.
