We would head back the woods to the Crashed Cars. There were about 6 rusted out old cars (skeleton frames of burned out Chevrolets) from the 60s & 70s that were probably stolen and rolled down this hill into a little crick.

There were also these underground filter beds next to an abandoned reservoir. About 15ft. underground, it was a giant labyrinth called The Holes that served the neighborhood kids for a few summers before the Philadelphia Water company cemented up the manhole covers we would pry up to get in.

Then there was my friends Mark's house, down the basement. Didn't everyone have that one friend whose parents didn't care of some underage drinking?

It wasn't quite like that for me. But I did have this buddy whose older friend didn't care if we drank. In fact, he encouraged it. He always said he was a professional massage therapist and was always offering to "hook me up" if I ever had a sore back or anything.

In high school, I used to work in a restaurant, and after closing up, we'd head to one guy's place and his sister (of legal age) would get us a case or two of whatever we asked her to get and hang out at his house til whenever (his mother worked nights and didn't get home until like 9am).

One night (for my and another guy's birthdays) we went to the Ocean Ave Bridge between Belmar and Avon and out on the jetty with 4 cases (there were about 8 of us). I got smashed and had my car there. One of the guys drove it to a block from my house and I drove the remaining block so that my parents didn't see someone else driving it. I think I had just turned 18 or 19 for that one.

My friends and I built a tree house way back in the woods for moments just like this. Get some tar paper from a construction site to waterproof the roof and some old carpet to do the walls and floor ( to cover any cracks wind/cold/rodents may get through) and you have your own padded room to get shitty in.

yep, welcome to my house. It wasn't that they didn't care, it was that we kept it out of sight so they kept it out of mind. Whenever we got booze we all went straight to my house and down to my basement, ah those were the days.

"The Trails" as theyre called in my town. Its just like a trail thats incredibly long and in the middle of the woods. Thing is, its just that, a trail. No more then like 3 or 4 weet wide and outside of that it just goes downhill into big ass brush and trees and tall ass grass.

I was there last weekend with some people and it completely sucked. I woke up Sunday morning with literrally 40-50 mosquito bites on my back, and another 30 scattered on my arms and lower legs. Worst feeling ever. Until like yesterday, I couldnt sit back in a chair without breaking out into a massive itching of my body.

We'd sneak out of school and dodge intot he woods and walk the trail home or wherever it was we planned on going.

I have two older brothers, so by the time my parents got to me i think they were so strung out from the stress of them getting busted for drinking, smoking pot and the like that they told me if i was ever to do anything to just make sure i was in someones house or our house and not out where we could get into trouble for it.
