Sucks Balls, no offense to the person who made it. Actually it works on several subtle levels, but, I think its time for something else.

So; I need suggestions for a new Mod Quote, and then I guess the Mods change it if they want. I'm leaving this all up to everyone else. Fire away.

And before the flames start; I'm already there, I'n fact, some background in case you dont know:

I'm 40 and harp on it.
I lost weight and harp on it and i'm still fat.
I was called Hagrid, found a picture, and it looked almost exact.
Ditto with RupertX on Survivor. I never watched that season, and at least a dozen said I looked like him before I saw a pic. Wow, I do.

I quit booze two years ago but will do that occasional puff, and yes i was a real deal teacher for seven years and why am i doing this.

I'm married but dont wear a ring and dig chicks a lot but havent cheated, not even once, and thats almost scary. Currently my wedded life sucks balls.

Ok thats enough. Oh, and if you hate my guts and feel this is the place for real cruelty, go ahead, but if you feel you have to reveal some secret like i sucked your cock in 98, just chill the fuck out.

Oh Yeah I forgot; On Ron and Fez:

Wonderboy described me as 'Overbearing' and a 'Hanger On' both of which I agreed with.

I basically barrage WB with audio and bits, and he doesnt use it, and thats a small [very very small] running bit on the show. We're fine in terms of the show, not enemies, not friends, i just barrage. I barrage Ron with news stuff and bits, occasionally some stuff he thinks is funny and airs it. Sometimes it still isnt funny, or good.

Ron has chosen not to air much of my bits. Last time I saw him, I thanked him, agreeing they were pieces of shit. About 50% is that i send now.

People can always ask. It's just at their own risk. I gave Mike a pretty harsh new one...then changed my mind and gave him a mild one because I liked the reference. Another mod may come along and decide to give him something else. Or if we come across something in this thread that strikes our fancy, that may go up, regardless of how "good" or "mean" it is.

Basically, ANYONE can make a thread like this if they want to (Preferably just use this one, since the subject line is perfect)...they just have to understand they could end up with literally ANYTHING someone suggest. They're at the mercy of the people!

The FAQ point above is basically just a warning that asking to have a mod quote changed more often than not leads to getting a bad one. It's not grounds for, nor has it ever been, nor is it even implied, locking of a thread or banning/warning of a poster.

Jiz, lighten up. It's not some kind of ironclad law of the land. What I described is how *I* have always taken it and how *I* have always acted upon it since my first day as a mod. Like I said, Mike might end up with a totally different mod quote. As for now, I chose to give him this one. It's my call. hence why they're called, "mod quotes." You don't have to like it, but that's how it is, and how it's always been. Some people request mod quote changes through IM, PM, e-mail, whatever...some get it, some don't. I requested several changes to my own before I was a mod. Sometimes I got it. Sometimes I didn't. Sometimes I ended up with a worse one. It's always been like this. If you haven't gotten used to it at this point, I can't help you.

If our take on mod quotes is some kind of breaking point, I apologize. If you want, I have no problem pushing for the FAQ to be changed so it's more specific.

What does what I asked have to with the site as a whole? It's MY request, it's how *I* act as a mod. And this place was NEVER about "balls," whatever that means.

I look at being asked to be a mod as I'm supposed to be trying to help the site along. To me, that's all I'm supposed to do with this. I wasn't aware I had to be some kind of bully to be a mod. That's not how I do things.

And yeah, I AM locking this, because there no reason to keep ANY thread open if you're just going to use it to goad people to come after you. Then we just have a flamewar, which is pointless, and has absolutely zero to do with why this thread was started in the first place.
