Basically, I was just being silly.
I also mentioned the fact that one time a tiger pissed on my father (true story) and that monkeys pick fleas off of their ass! Oh yes, and what about the walk I was looking to go on?

¨Qu‚ los pandas comen para el almuerzo?
A panda walks into a bar, eats a sandwich, fires a gun into the air, and heads toward the door. When a waiter asks him what the hell he is doing, the panda hands him a badly punctuated wildlife manual and says, "Look it up." Consulting the manual, the waiter reads: "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like marsupial, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves".
Thats' actually from a funny new-nonfiction-book; entitled "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" that I believe would interest some of this sites member's.
If the punctuation in the preceding sentence made you cringe, then this book is for you.
Basically, the author (Lynne Truss) pines over the demise of proper punctuation in everyday life. Among my favorite examples are the restaurant signs advertising that they sell "Pizzas" (in quotes, suggesting that what they're selling is kinda pizza-ish, but not really), and the crucial difference between extra-marital sex and extra marital sex.
It's a nice and easy summer read; the author's unhealthy (but amusing) passion for the subject almost makes you forget that you're reading a book about freaking commas.
