Konnan is comming to the WWE

(All information taken from backstagewrestling.com) Looks like he'll be starting out as an announcer, most likely on Smackdown since Eddie, Rey and Chavo are there to back him up. He's going to be a more involved announcer which most likely means he'll be more in your face. When he gets more in shape, he may go into a wrestling role, but for now he's just behind the mic. I'm hoping for an eventual John Cena/Konnan feud (imagine the rap battles).

Konnan is a guy who really defies all sorts of logic.

See, he's been godawful ACROSS THE BOARD for at least a decade, and yet he STILL finds work.

He has virtually no redeeming qualities. He's pretty much a Latin Lex Luger.

Not a big fan of the old stuff, and Im not really looking forward to the new shit either...just another guy for the WWE to piss on and then throw him back in the garbage. Its great though, you drop Sean OHaire but you bring in this guy...gotta love the WWE and their way of logic.

I'm hoping he goes to:
A) Velocity
B) Heat
C) Raw

Any of those three choices wouldn't provoke me to bat an eye. But if he replaces Tazz, then that's when I'm going to start. The SD! announce team is the best in the fed, so it would make little to no sense for Vince to pull in Konnan for no reason. I mean, let's be serious; About 90% of casual to die-hard wrestling fans don't watch TNA. Add the fact that WCW has been gone for years now, and you'll come up with millions of people saying "Who's this guy?" when they turn on their televisions.

All in all, this is a pretty dumb idea by the fed, and may be almost as dumb as pushing Orton. :)

easy solution for a konnan gimmick:

all they need to do is hit him over the head so he acts different.
from then on, he's the token Smackdown retard. their answer to
RAWs Eugene.

and his main gimmick is after the bell rings to start the match, he
acts all scared and pisses his pants. then runs around screaming and
takes off running out of the building through the audience. do that for
every match. he never actually wrestles.
the viewers will LOVE this guy!

I like his late night show, but I don't see him as a wrestling announcer. I mean, without that talking dog puppet thing, how far can he really go? Maybe he can drive his announcing desk around the ring.
