You'd think the way the Giants are acting that they won the Superbowl last year. They were 4 and 12, 4 and freaking 12. What a bunch of BABIES!!!!

Coughlin is acting like he's some superbowl winning coach. I don't think veterans need to be worked into the ground like that. Coughlin's work ethic is good for a bunch of young guys like in college but he'll fall apart again in the NFL.

I'm too lazy to goggle and search, and many here are sports experts, and it's prolly been a thread, but can Someone clue the clueless [Moi] as to How it Came to be, Why it Still is, and What might Happen to the fact that the NY Giants/Jets play in NJ. I never really followed it.

I know I'm repeating myself, but...

They were 4 and 12 last season. The 4 were wins and the 12 were losses. They need to stop bitching and get down to business. And least we forget the previous seasons embarrassment in the playoffs.

Thank you!!!!!

Now, for everyone else who doesn't seem to get it.

THE GIANTS DID NOT COMPLAIN BECAUSE THE WORK WAS TOO MUCH FOR THEM. THE PLAYERS COMPLAINED BECAUSE COUGHLIN BROKE RULES THAT WERE A PART OF THE CBA.

IF COUGHLIN DISREGARDS THE CBA, AND THE PLAYERS ALLOW IT, THEIR UNION INSTANTLY LOSES CREDIBILITY AND RELEVENCE.

Mike, from what I remember, it is because of the marketing factor. Both teams had, at the time they moved, a predominant NY following (and I think it's still true). So, why change name and logos to NJ when you were still trying to sell the majority of your mechandise to NY's.
