Undertaker may not have the talent of Benoit or Angle, the mic skills of a Jericho or the Rock, or the Jacked up Physique of Batista, but you gotta give'Taker his fair due.
When everyone else bailed on McMahon during the mid and late 90's to go work for WCW, Taker stayed loyal to the WWE. Not to mention that he has put over young talent. People like the Rock, HHH and Stone Cold have held the strap 6 and 7 times. In 14 years 'Taker has held it only 4 times. His new gimmick is a good combination of old school Undertaker, yet he still has the biker look going

McMahon wanted 'Taker to go back to the dark side gimmick, but in real life he is totally the biker guy. I think eventually he will go back to the American Badass gimmick again

Bret Hart didn't, neither did HBK

When everyone else bailed on McMahon during the mid and late 90's to go work for WCW, Taker stayed loyal to the WWE.
And?
Let's conveniently ignore all of the talk that, over the years, Undertaker threatened to leave Vince every time his contract was due to expire in order to extort more money out of him.
Not to mention that he has put over young talent.
WHAT?!?!?!?!
No, really.......
WHAT?!?!?!?!
People like the Rock, HHH and Stone Cold have held the strap 6 and 7 times. In 14 years 'Taker has held it only 4 times.
And ever one of those runs was awful.
His new gimmick is a good combination of old school Undertaker, yet he still has the biker look going
Which means they've half-assed BOTH gimmicks.
Gotta respect the Taker.
No, I don't. And until he does something worthy of my respect, I won't.

When I was at a Superstars' taping (mind you, they taped 3 weeks worth of shows at a time) and it took him 10 minutes just to walk to the damn ring each freaking time he came out.

I mark out to the Taker every time (Deadman Taker) It reminds me of when i was a Kid. Him Hogan and HBK to a lesser extent will always be special in that way. I dunno it may sound stupid but that is how i feel.

I never much cared for him. I always thought the Deadman gimmick was too carny, although in the early days it had a certain charm. That grew utterly ridiculous, however (I think around....what was it? Rumble 95? When it literally took half the dressing room AND Genichiro Tenryu to beat down Taker).
I actually LIKED him for a brief time when he was the Ministry of Darkness evil Taker.
Once that ended and he began the whole "American Badass", I'm-no-longer-an-undead-ghoul-but-I'll-still-no-sell-everything-just-cause-I'm-a-'locker-room-leader' " gimmick, I began to genuinely dislike him.
His current incarnation is distressing to me, because towards the middle part of 2003 he was actually busting his ass a bit to put on good matches.

Well, I do try.

That's one thing that I gotta give him credit for: he actually began to try in the latter part of 2003. But alas he's back to no-selling, and even when he did try to put on a good match it wasn't nearly enough to actually place him as a good worker.
