Can we get rid of sideline reporters

i hate them. they do absolutely dick in helping the broadcast. all they do is tell you info the truck tells them, which the announcers could just as easily do. if its for the eye candy, let the annoucer tell me the news while you're showing cheerleaders or something.

Best moment in sideline reporting history was back in the day when Lawrence Taylor was the sideline reporter for TNT (I'm pretty sure). Joe Theisman is in the booth. The exchange goes like this:

LT: (incomprehensible mumbling)
Theisman: Hey LT. How's the voice lessons?
LT: Hey Joe. How's the leg?
