From my sig I'm sure you can tell I enjoy 30 Minute Meals and 40 Dollars a Day- Rachael Ray is a filthy little whore and doesn't even know it.

Iron Chef? Can't go wrong! Even though the new American version has that fat pig Mario Batale on it who's only good for boiling noodles.

That show Good Eats is probably the most educational show on television. I feel there's gonna' be a quiz after every episode.

It's the only station you can still find Marc Summer's OCD ridden ass! How great is that!

The only one who sucks balls is Emeril. Fake ass chef... we all know how to cut a fucking onion. Take your hairy, guido ass and cook something from scratch!

BTW, Emeril is portuguese, not Italian.

Good eats is by far my favorite show. I think my girlfriend is going to buy me the DVD for my birthday this week. That should be cool. I cook everynight, so i think she considers it an investment in her future.
Alton Brown is great. The show is fast moving and you learn a lot of shit. he was actually cinematographer and video director for a decade before becoming a chef / tv host. he is the man.

what do you think of the gay english kid on there? he makes some good stuff, but his lisp and accent are enough to make me never want to walk into a kitchen again.

I think the hottest girl on there is Giada De Laurentiis, who is the host of everyday italian. Very do-able.

i am also a huge bobby flay fan. His grill show is great. though i do not think he should have won the iron chef comp. the other night.

Right off the bat, I hate Bobby Flay. He is a pompous ass and I was not at all impressed by the food at his "Mesa Grill".

Also, I accidently crashed Ming Tsai's wrap party at a bar across the street from the Food Network's studio on West End Avenue. It was hot, I wanted a beer and went into the bar. He was lording it up with his crew (who looked like they hated him) and when he saw me there at the bar he started shooting my dirty looks. Fuck him. I took my time drinking my beer, then ordered another.

The show that I really love is "A Cook's Tour" with Tony Bourdain. I love the authenticity of the food and people who prepare it in these third world countries.

Jamie Oliver was better on The Naked Chef than his new show.

I can't, or maybe I refuse to, turn off Rachael Ray. Even when I can tell early in the show that she's making something I'll never even attempt to recreate. And usually I would HATE anyone that smiles as much as she does, but she's so damn cute I find it endearing.

When I first saw Alkey's sig, I thought it was her, but the outfit seemed a bit out of place. I went nuts trying to find out for sure that day at work (got nothing remotely work-related accomplished that day). And every time I thought I found the pictures he used to make it, it was a link to the Stuff Magazine site, and it's blocked at work. Sucked to be me.

Couldn't agree more. Sometimes I feel like I really should have a notebook, pen, & tape recorder in my hands while I'm watching it. But oddly that doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the show.

Good Eats is one of my favorite shows on tv, just not food network. Alton Brown is extremely educational, funny, and informative. I like Iron Chef, Molto Mario or Mario Eats Italy, and all the shows Jamie Oliver is on (Naked Chef, Oliver's Twist, Jamie's Kitchen etc.).

i picked up a set of jamie oliver's t-fal pots, i highly recommend them. especially the wok. i'm still waiting to see if iron chef america will be a series or just those 3 shows. martha stewart sucks everything else i can watch. although rachel ray pisses me off during her $40 a day show...she's cute and all but if i billed her $5.40 and she gave me $6.00 "including tax and tip" i'd spit in her food.

Yea rachael ray is a cheap bitch when it comes to tipping. I Hate the show 40 dollars a day, but sometimes I will watch her cooking show because she does make some good things that are easy to make.

Question. Does anyone know where I can get on of those ceramic pots that they all use. The use them to braise lamb and make stews. Usually they are like red or green on the outside and white on this inside? seems like all the chefs use them, but i have not seen one in the store. they seem like they will be expensive though.

She's average, AT BEST.

Iron Chef? Can't go wrong! Even though the new American version has that fat pig Mario Batale on it who's only good for boiling noodles.

Mario is fucking fantastic, and it's time people recognize it. Molto Mario is one of the best shows on FN (and here's a fun fact - he's had Mario Cantone on there at least a couple times), and "Mario Eats Italy" was great as well.
