Do I think putting the belt on Jacqueline was the smartest thing to do? Fuck no. I can understand there was a panic when Plan A (TE Matt beating Chavo) didn't pan out, but the chick hasn't even been on TV for several months, and wasn't even supposed to be on the SD! roster. But I have a teeny bit of faith that this reign won't last long enough to make this worth bitching about.

BTW, RFM... three guesses as to whose bright idea the Jacky win was.

Why they didn't put Paul London in as El Gran Luchador only to later reveal it was Paul London is beyond me, but that's how I would have booked it.

Bob Holly is a sad, bitter man, who has been in this business for years and has never, nor will he ever, rise above the midcard, and his one main event push was rejected by the fans and died on the vine.....and rightfully so.

For whatever reason, he's decided to become one of those veterans who decides to take out all of their failings and aggressions on the rookies who don't deserve to be legitimately injured, no matter how much they are "paying their dues".

Fortunately, his behavior has backfired on him before. See Lesnar, Brock.

Actually, while Jackie DID wrestle Inferno on several occasions, she never won the WCW cruiser title (the Halloween Havoc match was non-title). However, two women have held the WCW cruiserweight title: Madusa (who defeated Evan Karagias, only to drop the belt to friggin' Oklahoma a month later) and Daffney (who defeated Crowbar and lost the belt, coincidentally, to Chavo Jr about 2 weeks later).

Peachy inadvertently helped me remember Daffney's name, and for that she has my undying graditude.

Jackie winning the belt is pretty disgusting. Mostly because I now think they could go for a "man who hates women" angle ala J-E-Double F J-A-Double R-E-Double T. Then that guy will fight women.

yeah, so........why did they do this? Have Chavo Jr. lose it, have him gain it back, have him lose it to {vomit} "Chavo Classic".

Couldn't they just have done that stupid three-way gimmick at the PPV or, if Vince feels that maybe a woman should not be in a match where it is assumed she will be killed, have it done the thursday beforehand. Is this like a way to start a new two-month cycle of some sort?
