I know wrestling is fake, I don't mind that. It's suspension of disbelief when I watch the show . but this whole undertaker is dead crap is too much. I would just prefer them to atleast pretend to be real, I can't fall for him controling the lights or shooting lighting or whatever. During the show Cole was like I keep having conversations with people is undertaker really dead . Does the WWE understand how rediculous that sounds? Booker going to the voodoo shop. Please that was so lame. the grave with the hand sticking out. The heart attack clip with Eddies Moms was another pain in the ass.Okay show it once, but 2 times? please it was so long and boring. Raw is such a better show. Smackdown has just become

Smackdown is now what wcw was a couple months before it went out of business. Even though Raw had its problems back than when the smackdown 6 dominated, it never ever ever reached the depths smackdown has sunk too.

WCW. you're so right. Is Kurt angles career really done? and if that's true, I wish WWE would have handle it better then having him fall like that. That fall would have killed him. The guy gave so much, he deserves better

If this is supposed to be the "Return of the Deadman" Undertaker, why does he look the same as he did before? The only thing different about him is the black hair and Paul Bearer. The Deadman would never win a match with a mat based submission hold. That pissed me off.
How hard is this:
Punch, kick, flying clothesline, no sell, no sell, no sell, Zombie situp, rope walk, tombstone, goodnight.
It's not difficult.

This will be the first PPV I did not buy, illegally steal or was unable to get because of contract problems with Directv in the 20 years I have watched WWF/E.
I would rather rip up $35 than buy this, especially if something good does happen I can download it within 2 days anyway.

I could swear there should be a few more "no sells" in that sequence.

Who's hand was that in the grave that Booker took the dirt from? Was that Mordecai?
So lame but you know I dig these angles.

Yeah, but it gets a little tired after he's been doing it for......oh, all fourteen of his years with the company.
The Deadman would never win a match with a mat based submission hold. That pissed me off.
I think in his own mind, Taker thinks he's some sort of unrecognized MMA talent.
I'd LOVE to see him step into the ring with a true MMA figher and discover how wrong he is.

I think that the debut of Mordecai will come Judgement Day and he will help Booker T get the win. Booker will probably be then on a downward spiral from then career wise and retire. Taker will have a new job boy, and the rest will be mediocre at best.

Bear in mind, I don't have the Observer in front of me, but according to another message board I go to, Meltzer reported that WWe has plans to give Booker a voodoo man gimmick. Think Papa Shango, Version 2.0.
Again, thus far it's just a rumor.

This makes sense, since Raw has been around longer than Smackdown, and also has the "LIVE" momentum.

He really didn't "fall". He was probably caught by a net or something. It was by far, one of the saddest works in wrestling. Anyway, it's pretty obvious they did that so Kurt could give a retiring speech and have it match up with their storyline. Cause you know, due to his neck he cant wrestle anymore.

Did anyone else get a giggle out of the fact that Angle landed in the Sega-Genesis-NHL '93 injured player position: sprawled on his back, leg bent at an unnatural angle, with a little puddle of blood next to his head? The only thing he didn't do is twitch...I laughed for about 15 minutes over that.

I was hoping it would turn into a Madden on the Genesis moment where an ambulance comes in and runs over innocent bystanders just to get to Kurt
another thing, was it me or did Booker mutter the name "Brian Lee" at one point during his trip to the gravesite? (this is where I tuned in, and tuned out 5 mins later) do I smell rehash of the UT/fake UT angle?? could a Ted Dibiase return be next?

Well, common sense would state that, if you want to build up a heel, you wouldn't have him lose, especially since you've already damaged him by showing for the past few weeks that he's chickenshit to even be in the same presence as the face.......
.....so, of course, I fully expect them to put Taker over clean at the PPV.
Because God knows, he just needs to be more over, doesn't he.

Undertaker tends to have better matches against wrestlers who are primarily strikers. Given his size, and no doubt the damage that years of performing has done on his body, this type of match seems to suit him better. Booker can work this well, particularly with some of his excellent kicking moves. I'm not saying this match will tear down the house, but as a Booker fan I hope it is an enjoyable match. That, and I don't want him to lose this more deliberate pace he started right from his entry into Smackdown.
But he should have been going for the title. He should have held a top belt at least once by now.
