It's been driving me nuts. I don't remember who was in it, thats why I can't easily look it up myself. It came out sometime in the 80s and it was about all machines coming to life and killing people. It was pretty cheesy sci-fi. I remember a particular scene where a soda machine kills a dude by firing soda cans at him.

It is Maximum Overdrive. The soda machine kills a guy at the little league field.

There's a soda machine that goes crazy along with some other machines in this Stephen King movie from 1986

Maximum Overdrive (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091499/)

Oh man what a Horrifically Bad Wonderful Movie.

Leonard Pinth Garnell would have enjoyed it. I think King was directly involved with this Shark Sandwich; and its so bad I love it; the AC/DC driven soundtrack is as good as King's adaptaion of his own work is Bad.

Hey, I like it. But another example of how King's stuff rarely translates well to screens big or small.

Oh, and for a different flick, but one that's pretty cool, I thought at least:

Westworld

Umm, the guy who married Striesand, that other guy [Elliot Gould?], and Yul Brenner playing the Character he played in Magnificent Seven, I think. I think its a Michael Chrichton screenplay.

They make a Western resort with Robots indistinguishable from humans. And like every Chrichton thing; said technology goes batshit, and you're off. I liked it.

Sheesh, theyre re-making pieces of Shit. Someone re-make this one.

The guy who married Streisand is James Brolin. I think the other guy was Richard Benjamin, not Elliot Gould.

Westworld

Where nothing can go wrong...
go wrong
go wrong
go wrong
go wrong...

One of the greatest bad movies of all times. For me it
is up there with

Beaneath the Planet of the Apes
Repo Man
Soylent Green
Telefon
Toxic Avenger
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

From what I remember, I think Maximum Overdrive was a Stephen King story.

There's been talk of remaking Westworld for years now. For a while, Ahnold's name was attached.
