And I don't mean structurally.
Our lives have forever
changed! How do we move on?

We move on...Life does go on. We have to pick up and move. We must not forget all that was sacrificed, but have to move on or we dishonor those that worked hard before us. Including those that were savagely killed today by the barbarians. Americans are tough people, New Yorkers are symbolic of that toughness. We have to pick up and we have to rebuild. I know the pain is fresh now and the anger equally fresh, but that will pass. And we must continue to build and move on...
God Bless America

Yes, Americans are tough
people but American are also
who let this happened!
Americans-- innocent
Americans-- are who perished!
Some dumb schmuck with a 9-5
perished just because his
company was located in the
World Trade Center. Tell me why!

ALICE - Firstly, you are 100% correct. Our lives have been forever changed and we must acknowledge this.
An attack on US soil is something that we never conceived of.
An event like this shakes us to our core. Our foundations of thought, belief, value and security have to be rethought and reintegrated with the horrific images we saw.
Alice it will take time.
The images and thoughts of all that suffering has had me in tears for 2 days.
It's important to express what you are thinking. Do not keep your thoughts bottled up. Talk to your family, friends, religous leaders, whomever you can get support from.
Take tremendous comfort that despite the madness, the overwhelming number of people are good. Look around at all the volunteers; the people who rushed out to give blood, waiting on lines for hours to do so. Look at the volunteers giving water, food and clothing to the rescue workers and survivors. Look at the drs and therapists lined up to help.
It reminds you that there is good in the world.
