Who's Watching the Dateline Special on Friends?

I am. And I hate myself for it, considering I never watched a single episode of it.

Yes, I was disgusted when they wanted to be paid a million dolllars per episode. I refused to watch.

Yet, like a moth to flame, I'm gonna watch the last episode.

I dont know what the big deal is about that show. I have only seen a few episodes and they were crap. Theyre making it seem like its the end of all TV on Thursday. Ill be glad when they finally go away.

It's like when Cheers ended. It had lost steam, they tried to go out near the top, and one of the characters got a spin-off. BFD.

i watched a whole 5 minutes or less of that special. i watched the part of the friends family tree and then i turned the channel.

I'd just like to say... GET A LIFE, will you people? I mean, for crying out loud, it's just a TV show! I mean, look at you, look at the way you're dressed! You've turned an enjoyable little job, that I did as a lark for a few years, into a COLOSSAL WASTE OF TIME!

I watched it cuz nothing else was on.

But I love Friends, even though it has lost its steam over the last couple of years. I'll miss it, but life goes on.

I haven't watched a full episode of Friends in a year or two. And I probably would have been fine if I hadn't been flipping through the stations, but the lovely hum and the pretty lights drew me ever closer to the interviews, the outtakes, the backstage tour, ZAAAAP.

I came to 2 hours later and swore never again to be sucked in to a goodbye special ever again.

Wait, what's that? Do you hear it? So pretty, so sweet, it seems so pleasant. Come on, just a little peek. We won't stay long, I promise.

"Baby I hear the blues a callin', tossed salad and scrambled eggs. . . "
