Have you all seen the one where everyone is wearing a costume? The first game is the one with the rocks in water. Just seeing people try that with huge elobate costumes cracked up everyone watching for like 5 minutes.

Yeah it's good. There was another show called "The Peoples Champions" which was equally funny on the FX channel. It had an olympics style theme and the events that the people competed in were hysterical.

I really like this show as well. I hope they don't try to do an "American" version of it like what they did recently with Iron Chef. The voice overs are a big part of what makes the show so great. If they tried to play it straight, it would stink I think.

Well, the Almost Live Special (Episode 1 of season 2) was taped in orlando and was basically an americian version, however they still over dubbed it. Even though the original show is a japanese show, we have an american version right now.

Now if you mean, new hosts, new captain, new LeDouche, all american contestants, and no overdubbing. That will never happen. The overdubbing is a biggest part of the show, besides the pain.

That's what I meant. I could see somebody trying to get Lawrence Taylor or Chuck Norris to commentate on the pain. Of course, the sideline reporter would have to be some attractive woman who doesn't know anything about what's going on.

I have faith in the Spike network.

Of course, if the show went to a network like Fox or something, then they would eff it up big time. But I think they know it's funny and it's cheap to make (I think the writers are the voices and the producers and probably a couple of other things, too), which is the perfect TV formula.
