Vacation Time!!!

I start my pre-summer vacation this Sat. night (right after work). Nothing great except I'm spending 5 days with my brother upstate NY. Just me and him mostly...a little camping, illegal fishing, eating a lot of icecream like the old days...maybe a little brotherly swordfighting like when we were kids. This is just a dress rehearsal for my summer vaction.
What is everyone else doing this summer for vacation????

me and my family go to the same place we have gone my whole life for 2 weeks in upstate New York. its on a small lake (Loon Lake) near Lake George. no TV or phones and its great. its on a nice big beach and with my family alone there are about 20 of us. jet skiing, swimming, fishing and the best part for me is being around the kids(other than 2 weeks of happy hour starting at 1). they have so much fun and i like doing all the stupid things with them...and a bunch of stuff their parents wouldn't want them doing, that's why they like me so much. being the favorite rules. 94 more days and we are off.

Our summer vacation may be in the southern equator's summer. The wife is trying to hook up a deal to get us, and the kids, back to Argentina for Christmas/New Years.
If that does not pan out, a week at Seaside Hgts.

I'm going to visit my brother in Hawaii again in August. I can't wait!! Nothing like clean beaches instead of the pristine pollution of Gateway Beach.

I'm moving to San Diego. I leave on the 15th, and I'm driving it while making stops in St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver and Las Vegas.

The problem about starting a new job is that you can't take vacations until you're in there for a while.

Puerto Rico is the best I went there last year. Old San Juan is really nice, I also went to Ponce but Culebra was the coolest, its an island just off the coast that you have to take a ferry to.
You're gonna have a blast.

Old San Juan is really nice Is it worth a 30 min. trip from Dorado? I've heard that I should check it out but I don't want to waste any time. Did you go to the rainforest? What else did you do while you were in PR?

a week in July at N. Myrtle Beach...

My eldest brother has been springing for the condos for about 7 years straight now. The rest of us cover most of the meals and amusements. We are 5 brothers and we should all be there this year along with 3 wives and 7 kids. The kids love getting together with their cousins. It turns out 4 kids are in N Carolina, 1 in Indiana, and our 2 in NJ and it's usually the only time of year they see each other. My dad and his lady friend will also be there.
