i pod question..

this goes to anyone who should have an ipod.
i'm aware that you can play your songs through your car stereo via your tape deck or plugging it into your stereos aux in.

my stereo doesnt have a tape deck and i dont have the aux in plug.
so is my only choice to take it to the shop and have them install a new stereo with the plug??
is there any other possible way to play it??
