if what Se7en said about Goldberg/Austin would happen in Japan and then this would follow......has any feud ever spanned 3 promotions? Things could get interesting......
"Rumors have come up that Ted Turner is once again considering a return to pro-wrestling. Turner used wrestling to put TBS on the map some 25 years ago and has always had great loyalty to it.
When the AOL-Time Warner merger took place, Turner signed many documents including one that said he would not compete with AOL-Time Warner in pro-wrestling. That agreement is apparently set to end in March of 2005.
AOL-Time Warner also has a five year no compete clause with WWE that ends in March of 2006. After that, AOL-Time Warner networks such as TBS could air a competing pro-wrestling show.
Paul Kellner, one of the main men against pro-wrestling during the times of the AOL-Time Warner merger, is no longer with the company.
Some believe that Turner has already started to lay the groundwork for the new promotion, including sending out feelers to both Steve Austin and Goldberg. The idea is that Austin and Goldberg have enough power to create major interest in a #2 promotion, just like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, etc. did for WCW years ago."
