Not ALL Movies, but a Movie in General.

Meaning, someone famous who is in a movie; and for some reason, everyone seems to forget that person was in That movie. Usually it may be something way out of their regular movie genre.

All the Bug Talk got me to my Copy of Aliens on DVD. Cant afford the Quadrilogy set yet, but hey; this version kicks ass anyways.

Paul Reiser. The comic? 'Mad About You?' 'Bye Bye Love'

I forgot he was the Corporate Prick that talks Ripley into going back to the planet; and if you havent seen the movie by now, well, things dont exactly go his way.

But total surprise for the role, ya know?

Or it was an early movie for the person, and you love the movie, but they were obscure then, so you forgot they were in it.

Cant remember title of movie: Brendan Frasier is attacked because hes Jewish by Matt Damon and a bunch of others who bcame big.

Ah; the Outsiders. i ALWAYS forget Tom Cruise is in that until I see it. Always.

Ditto with Charlie Sheen in Ferris Beuller.

Any others? Lame Ass Thread? Discuss.

Tom Cruise is in Taps one of his earlier roles.

Kevin Costner was in The Big Chill as the corpse, he was also in Night Shift as Frat boy #1.

I was watching Married to the Mob the other night and I forgot that Alec Baldwin and Mercedes Ruehl were both in that movie.

or

Paul Reiser was also in Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2.
Plus Damon Wayans has a small part in the first one where he's the gay guy at the hotel who gives Eddie Murphy the banana to put in the tailpipes of the car the cops were using to follow him.

Now this is something the other tour guides won't tell you. In this particular cell-block, Machine Gun Kelly had what we call in the prison system, a "bitch". And one night in a jealous rage Kelly took a make-shift knife or "shiv", and cut out the bitch's eyes. And as if this wasn't enough retribution for Kelly, the next day he and four other inmates took turns pissing into the bitch's ocular cavities. (short pause) This way to the cafeteria!

I caught the last portion of Witness (Harrison Ford, Kelly McGillis) and saw Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) as a young Amish farmer.

He sat next to the blond guy who liked Rachel and was also in the back of the wagon when the same blond guy was getting razzed by the non-amish bullies.

Sheeesh I totally forgot about that movie. You ever have one of those movies, you put on the tv, youre skimming the movie channels and you see something, and you dont know what it is, but it grabs you, and you just start watching. That was me with that movie. I dont know how well it has gaed but I thought it was one of the best, shot, was it a crime drama? not really a love story; a cool cross-cultural thing before the Amish became a movie cliche.

Scene: When the kid [didnt he grow up to be the big geeky brother of Jack Black in ID4?] is in the police station, and Ford is on the phone, and the Kid is looking at the Police Trophy Case, and, they show a photo, and then his eyes, then the photo, and then you see what he sees. And Ford looks over and sees that the kid sees, and quietly hangs up the phone and walks over to the boy, now pointing at the photo, and very quietly takes his hand and puts it down.

Holy shit.

And Glover never topped that one; he was great as a Son of a Bitch.

And Ford looks over and sees that the kid sees, and quietly hangs up the phone and walks over to the boy, now pointing at the photo, and very quietly takes his hand and puts it down.
Here's another great scene from the movie:
The morning of the big showdown.

Camera shot of the dirt road leading up over a hill.

No music, no talking. A car creeps up over the top with it's headlights on like a pair of predatory eyes. The lights are turned off and you can see/hear the car back down behind the crest of the hill again.

Suspensfull and threatening.

Scene: When the kid [didnt he grow up to be the big geeky brother of Jack Black in ID4?] is in the police station

I think you mean Lucas Haas, who played the geeky brother of Jack Black in "Mars Attacks!."
