I know that Too Cute and the Chairman got us a great field in Amityville, that seems way too far out on the island. Last year I tried to get their while living in LI and even I had trouble (damn Freeport and their 5 corner confusing streets with no damn street signs).

Anyway, unless you guys are planning on getting a totally out-of-the-way field near Danbury Connecticut, I will not be attending this years game(s).

Last year's games were in Amityville, LI and Pomona, NY. First game is planned for Amityville again, second game is potentially in NJ, but not as south as the shore.

No doubt Grant and Aya were great to help us all out when needed. I did however have a problem with the fact that A) we seemed to have a VERY tight area to lounge around in. We were eating in the parkling lot and B) we also had to hurry up our last game. I felt rushed to get off the field and leave. (Of course this also included my sorry ass losing my keys...but that is another story)
How about Staten Island....I know that is very accessable from people in Long Island, AND NJ..just a suggestion.
Oh yes and I realize that we have limited area to actually play because of the fact that we want to drink. Not every Softball/Baseball field in NJ or NY will allow us to do that. (I say fuck them!..Gimme a beer!)

How can you take a poll when nobody knows what fields are actually available and when? I'd suggest that everyone who is saying "I can get a field" actually go out and find out what it would take to get that field for a Saturday in June or July and THEN let the board know. Screw the "if anyone is interested" shit, because there is ALWAYS going to be someone who complains, and if we listen to all of them we won't have a field at all.

Everyone else who is just whining about how far away fields are should quit bitching if they care so much and get a field that's convenient for them. I mean, I'm sure as fuck not going to get a field in NJ when I live on Long Island because I love you all so much that I want to go through the hassle of getting a field just so it's convenient for all the lazy fucks who can't be bothered to do the work themselves and just want someone to do it for them.

Regarding this whole thread....If you weren't there last year then don't comment when people make inside jokes and talk about what happened last year.

Chairman and TooCute could not have been better hosts. Seriously, they went out of thier way. All most people did was show up. If I had to pick a location I would pick the same one. I would make the same commute. I would shut up and be greatful. If you don't show up, guess what? The game will go on without you. This is a fun event that allows us to get together and meet/see people in real life rather than on the internet. It should not be the center of all these arguments.

Why was it so much easier last year you ask? BC a select few people stepped up and did a lot of work for the rest of us. I am not in a position to "make it happen" so I also cant complain if it doesn't take place. If it does, thats great.

Yep, I made those. I also dumped most of them all over home plate in a drunken/stoned stupor.
I liked the pudding shots better, but I think they were a little too heavy to do when you're running around in that heat. But I'll make a special batch for you :)
