Do you like to cut sandwhiches when you make them? Some people like to cut their sandwhiches across the bread, and yet others cut them diagonally. Still others don't cut them at all. If you prepare sammiches or if you have them made for you how do you prefer it?
For whatever reason I like my sammiches cut diagonally. Though if I have something on a roll I don't mind if it's cut across.

I never cut my rolls, but if I ever use bread I'll cut them across or diagonally, depending on how I'm feeling like having it.

I cut sandwichs on rolls diagonally, never straight across. that's just weird.

diagonally is the only way to go. For some reason I can't enjoy a sandwich as much if its not cut this way.

grilled cheese gets cut diagonally; everything else gets cut across.

depends on the stability of the contents. if it's a long hoagie roll and it's packed with lettuce, onions, peppers, and tomatoes then i prefer it be cut in half...
a peanut butter on whole wheat needs no cutting...

And did anyone ever answer how you cut a circular object on a diagonal?
i think no one answered because it can't be done. a circle doesn't have a diagonal. it just has as many diameters of equal length as anyone could ever want. so, cut away, but it's not a diagonal.

I take the lip of a cup and force it through the center of the sandwich and make it round. No, Im joking, I usually cut it diagnally. But my mom use to do the thing with the cup to a piece of bread and place it in a slightly buttered frying pan, crack an egg and drop it into the hole and fry it up, with the removed circle toasted in the same pan. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Rotate it 45 degrees so it gives you the impression that you cut it diagonally. ;)
I don't cut mine anymore, but when I did it was bread - diagonal, long rolls - straight

Yeah it looked weird, but for the Tuna Sub fan [insert joke here] I like it coz on some Tuna Subs when you bite down all the tuna goes shooting out the sides.
Don't get me going on tuna.

Rolls have flat bottoms so I think cutting a circle diagonally means cutting at an angle other than perpendicular to the plane of the flat bottom of the roll.
And personally, I carve certain sandwich meats, but I don't carve sandwiches themselves.

Most times I perfer the sandwich cut in half. Subs especially. I usualy eat hamburgers with a knife and a fork when I go to a restaurant that serves over 1/2 lb. burgers. It creates less of a mess and makes you really enjoy the burger as well.

Anyone ever put two lego waffles in the toaster and when they're done you put vanilla ice cream in between them- making an ice cream/waffle sandwich? Ohhh! Oh, I says! It's the best!! I invented it! I did! I created that dish, you bastards! Don't rip me off, you bastards, that dish is all mine!!!

Same idea if you eat a big slice of thick crust pizza with a knife a fork. It just tastes better, period.
