Clerks: The TV Show?

I've always wanted it to happen. Randal and Dante working at the Quick Stop and RTS Video Store in Red Bank. A live action black and white hour long series. It could be on HBO so they wouldn't have to worry about the language. I know they already tried with the animated series that bombed on ABC but is really funny if you get the DVD collector's edition. These guys obviously need work. And think of the connections Kevin Smith has with Hollywood. That's a lot of guest stars.

Yeah, Leonardo, that's what I meant. And if it were up to me and they had the live action version of Clerks on TV, there would be no Leonardo Leonardo. That's too cartoony.

Actually, there was a Clerks non-animated tv show. A pilot was made, but not picked up. I forget if it was for a network or something they made and shopped around.

People have asked Smith to put it on the "Clerks" anniversary DVD coming out soon, but even he can't stand it, and he throws EVERYTHING onto his DVD's, just like Miggs.
