I have been to Sandals in Negril, the 2 in Montego Bay, and the 2 in Ocho Rios (Dunns river and Ocho Rios). I worked for a travel agency and was lucky enough to go for a week for 100.00.
Dunns River and Negril are the 2 nicest of the resorts. Negril is on the west side of the island you will get great sunsets and it is right next to Hedonism and they allow guests to go back and forth between resorts.
Dunns river has a huge pool, nice spa, 2 pool bars, a pitch and putt course (not great), and 3 or 4 different restaraunts. Dunns River and Ocho Rios are near Dunns River which is a huge waterfall that you walk up in a big group.
Both Ocho Rios and Negril are about an hour and a half from the airport, you will be drinking beer the whole way to the resort. Remember on the ride home you have a long ride before you get to the airport.
If you stay in Montego bay I would not recommend the Sandals Inn. It does not have its own private beach. All of the Sandals have armed guards walking the property and there are all fenced in.
Remember you are in a 3rd world country.
The best part of Sandals is that it is all inclusive, drink all you want and all you have to do is keep track of your room key. If you get a drink you don't like send it back and get something else and there is no tipping.
