"Unreleased" Exorcist finally released

Apparently before the Exorcist was shot, there was a less Gory version fimled that was scrapped cause it wasnt scary enough, then they made the one we all know and love. So now hollywood is going to let us see the inferior verson of a movie.

Like it's not bad enough we have to see the awful remakes, now we get the awful rough drafts.

I hope they find an earlier version of Ishtar.

This is actually about "Exorcist 4," (aka: "Exoricst: The Beginning") which is a recently filmed prequel, not the original one. Not sure why they used the Linda Blair picture in the article.

They fired the director (Paul Schrader) earlier in the year when they got his version of the film, and went back and did a gorier version. Makes no sense why they are releasing one on DVD the same time the other is in theatres.

It was scary but not gory. More psychological, but had probs filming from the beginning, and the studio wasn't happy. It's cool that they're releasing both versions, even if both will suck.
