TV ads for American products in other countries

Here are 2 TV commercials, one for Ford (http://poststuff.entensity.net/040904/media/media.php?media=cat.wmv) the other for Bridgestone (http://poststuff.entensity.net/040904/media/media.php?media=bridgestone.wmv).

These ads would have NO CHANCE of getting on tv in America, in fact I bet these companies would deny ever making these advertisements if the American public found out about them...well the Bridgestone one is fine, maybe the FCC and soccer moms wouldn't like it. But the Ford ad is just sick! Who the hell in there right mind want to advertise there car in this way?

It's just ridiculous.

Holy shit!! I just spit soup onto my computer screen...that Ford one is one of the funniest fucking things I have seen in a long time, and no way in hell would that make on TV here in America. I applaud the Brits!!!

Didnt they used to have a TV show 'worlds greatest commercials' or something, a while back?

I just remember:

-A-list celebs you Never see doing Commercials in the US do them overseas [I guess Lost in Translation shows that]

-The commercials from other countries are simply better, in almost every way; funnier, less PC, and it sometimes seems the Adverts are a competition to 'out shock' the compeition.

They rule. We suck. Just like we stole/steal all the TV ideas from the Brits.

i imagine the 'cathaters' of the world would enjoy the first one. i personally feel it's cruel and the ad company along with Ford should fire the people that signed off on it. and the local authorities should keep a good eye on them. they say Dahmer liked to kill animals.

the second one 'even though it's dogs' is demeaning to any female. it just don't fit with selling the quality of a tire. the car could have stopped for any other purpose but 'again' some sick people had to think of two dogs fucking. i'd fire them too...

Thanks ass, I just spit Frapaccino all over my desk. Both of them were fuckin hilarious. The Ford one was just really sick. The Bridgestone one was kinda dumb but the dogs havin sex was hysterical.

After viewing in the other thread the Cat Lovers One, I of course being a cat lover go and watch. I sure hope that was not a real cat and it was some great computer animation. That was beyond sick but I practically shit myself. For some reason or another two of my cats just leaped in fear. Maybe it was the moon roof closing sound. Who knows.
