I know nothing about the comic, and with the exception of the first 2 batmans and the first two X-men movies, I'm not a big fan of movies about comic books, but goddammit if that movie doesn't look cool!

Can someone fill me in on what his deal is before I see the movie?

basically, he is army veteran who loses his wife and son in a mafia shoot out. he decides to "punish" all criminals.

Does he just beat them up or does he actually kill them? I'm sick of superheroes not doling out real justice.

Does he have any powers, or is he just really pissed off? Kind of sick of superpowers too.
