Does Seven Up still exist?

Like Fezzie, I am a big fan of the 7 and 7s. Every so often I go to the liquor store, pick up the Seagram's but I can never find 7 Up ANYWHERE. I always settle for Sprite.

Was it replaced by that Sierra Mist shit?

Didn't they have the labels on their bottles upside down so for awhile so when you pour it you could read the label.

Yes it does, but many moons ago, the company went bankrupt and was taken over by Pepsi. Remember RC??? I know this because my dad worked for 7UP driving a druck for years, until one day, he hurt his back lifting the soda onto the back of the truck.

He used to take things home from the 7UP plant in Melville--- our first cat (Dirtbomb), 7UP signs, lots of free soda, and Christmas decorations. He actually got two life sized Santa Claus statue things that we used to decorate our living room with when I was a very little girl. When they started to look ragged, he took them and hung them by their necks off of our tree in the front yard during Christmas season. We recieved many complaints about the spectacle because my house was the "bus stop" house, and the little kids would scream and cry when they saw Santa hanging from a noose in our front yard.

So to answer your question, yes, 7UP is still around.

Yes, it does. I had a craving for 7 and 7's the other day after hearing the birthday show. So I went and got Seagrams and 7UP. For whatever reason though 7UP is no longer clear, it's green and the bottle is clear. Plus the logo is upside down. I haven't had it in a long time because I mostly get Sierra Mist if I get a soda somewhere. 7 and 7's rock, though I prefer it when it's mostly Seagrams and just a little 7UP.

When Pepsi introduced Sierra Mist ( which they so nicely handed out last week ) most of the bottlers ( distributors ) stopped carrying 7-Up. Supposedly 7-UP was in 10,000 coolers through out NYC in 2002 and in 2003 it was down to only 2000.
Sierra Mist just passed 7-Up as the #9 best selling soda.
Stock up on it because in 2 years they'll probably stop making it altogether.
