Ive got all my tunes in RealPlayer, and everything I give 5 stars to goes into its own playlist., providing its not over 1 hour of total music. If it is over 1 hour, I guess at random they pull certain songs off that list. Heres what I got right now:

1- Are you Lonesome tonight - Elvis 3:08

2- Liar - Rollins Band 6:34

3- Turn The Page - Bob Seger 5:04

4- Sympathy for the Devil - Stones 6:27

5- Moist Vagina - Nirvana 3:36

6- Street Fighting Man - Rage agianst TM 4:42

7- Wonderfull Tonight - Clapton 3:41

8- My Wild Love - The Doors 3:01

9- Last Kiss - Pearl Jam 3:17

10- Cant Help Falling In Love - Elvis 2:59

11- Four Walls Of Raiford - Skynyrd 4:14

12- Killing in the Name - Rage ATM 5:14

13- Institutionalized - Suicidal Tendencies 3:49

14- A song I wont mention - 4:02

This is an interesting point I made to myself awhile ago.

My favorite band growing up was GnR, yet I have no GnR song. My favortie band since HighSchool has been Danzig, and I love all his Misfits stuff, but no Danzig tunes made my list.

I think this list pretty much sums up how much i enjoy the music thats been coming out for the last 10 years. "Liar" came out in 93 I think, and I'm not sure what year "Moist Vagina" is accredited with, but those are the most recent songs i have listed.

Now as I review I realize I have a few tough choices to make. I need to cut songs and replace them. I most def want to bring in " You Cant Bring Me Down" by ST and "Dancing Queen" but making space will be a most difficult task.

As It stands right now, I'm not thrilled when

1-Turn the page
2 Sympathy for the devil
2 Last Kiss

come one, so 2 of them will have to go more then likely.

Some of you may have a similar setup and already know what your hour is, and some of you dont.

So what is/ would be your hour of favorites?

First mistake: me opening this thread

Second mistake: "Ive got all my tunes in RealPlayer." Us 2.9x Winamp, Realplayer sucks, uses too many resources and tracks your listening.

I have a playlist on my WinMedia player--something I did a long time ago. Just from the handfull of albums that I have copied to my hard drive. If I were to go through my whole collection it would be a lot different:

Jezebel--Reverend Horton Heat 3:11
Fifth Wheel--Avail 3:19
Ghost Town Blues--Social Distortion 4:38
Porphyria Cutanea Tarda--A.F.I. 2:07
Manthem--Bouncing Souls 3:09
MC5--Stone Temple Pilots 2:42
10:15 Saturday Night--The Living End 4:51
Another Great Start to a Miserable Day--Kill Your Idols 2:53
Crucified--Agnostic Front 2:28
The Fortunes of War--Dropkick Murphys 2:44
Glory Bound--Ann Beretta 4:29

(that's well short of an hour, I know)

Wadd; thats a pretty good list in my opinion; a definitie mix.

Abba. Dancing Queen?

Can we all step off our fucking musical high horses? These thread degenerate into 'Let me think of really cool stuff others will be impressed by' and for some it just shows utterly.

Abba. Fucking Amazing. Listen to the 12-string acoustic and the step-down melody line; that's fucking amazing.

You wanna know what I listen to? My M section has:

Ministry's Filth Pig
Madonna Immaculate Collection
Mozarts Operas
Metallicas And Justice for All
Manilow's greatest Hits

and each and every one of those; in their own way; fucking rock.

Seger's turn the Page? Holy shit what magic. Seger could weave magic. Springsteen always said Born to Run was his attempt at a Bob Seger type album; the paralells running alongside 'Night Moves' are just too many to discount.

Cool lists.

Pete Seeger could beat the crap out out of Bob Seger while playing the banjo with his cock and singing Guantanamera.

Maybe not, but its a great image.

Filth Pig? I really thing Al peaked before that. I'd really go with Psalm 69.

Oh, excuse us for trying.

You're being unfair, Mike. You have all these great stories about how you heard or saw now-classic bands before they were huge...and now you want to deny us young turks the same chance! Why do we have to settle for the stuff that's already been around and around? I need new music and I want new music! I ain't settling for nuthin'!

ABBA made great music but when you hear it every f'n time your in a bar with a jukebox, you want to pukebox. I put them there with Billy Joel and Guns n' Roses - just getting played out every night.

But for those of you listening at home - enjoy!
