I clicked on the Today's Topics button and saw only 39 active discussions as of 9:40PM. That's a far cry from where this board had been. In the old days there'd by as many active discussions by 6AM. It's not just quantity that's missing but quality as well - many of the board's best characters are long gone.

I agree that there are some posts that seem to just hang there, with no one adding anything for days, and it does seem that the level of active discussions has gone down considerably since last summer or so. I guess some of the more active people have gone onto greener pastures, thought I personally feel that if there wasnt such hostility when someone posts something that is not 100% correct and they get torn apart for minor errors that more people would participate.

You are being very kind to say the least. This board has been in limbo for a long while already. Poor management and lack of integrity will destroy ANY medium, obviously this board was not immune.

The board has always been heavily new york based. We're not as big a part of the show as we were when they were up here, so less people come to the board to follow up with the people they heard on air.

I think I'll add this message to the "Things you hate about yourself" post, because I hate that I feel I have to answer "Is this board dying?" I try to ignore... but.....

Asking if this board dying is like asking "Is rock dead?" or "How about this weather" in an elevator. It's a question that makes no difference to anyone or anything. It's unnecessary. It's fucking stupid.

I'm sure we've all been to friends' and family dinners at another place other than our own. They've thrown something on your plate that you do not like. Do you complain? Do you yell out "This sucks?"

Do you say, "Last Thanksgiving I had three helpings by now!"
