i am watching some dumb shit about greece maybe behind behind schedule for the olympics. it got me thinkin, does anyone care anymore.

when i was little, the olympics were a big thing, my whole family would watch and be excited. now it seems like they arent really important to many people anymore

see thats my point. when i was little, the event never mattered. people would watch and root for the US. now its like sports, not a country country thing. more like they are looked at as teams

the olympics suck. and when the hell did we start letting professional athletes take part in the olympics? didn't jim thorpe get his medals taken away for receiving like 10 bucks for playing in a ball game? and to listen to bloomberg and co. talk about this ridiculous stadium they want to build on the west side in HOPES that we might get the olympics someday is retarded. the shit lasts like 2 weeks, nobody really notices and you KNOW a terrorist is in a cave somewhere getting giddy over thinking about hitting NYC during the olympics.
