Pot Pies

I have been searching for a good, home-version chicken pot pie. Nothing seems to be even remotely as good as those mass produced ones we used to get in elementary school. I'm tryin' a Marie Callender's right now, and, ehhhhh, good, but not great. Anybody know of a kickass brand?

i was wondering if those are good...sound good as hell----but all in all good frozen pot pies are my quest, the marie callender's got better as I folded the inner crust in and got it gooey. fuck now i wanna eat one tonight too

Come on, the Swansons, besides being the CLASSIC, has a top crust AND a bottom crust; the bottom crust gets all soggy and good and th top is a little crispy - unless you microwave it in qhich case it's doughy, but you just mash it into the highly preserved, overly salty insides! Watch out though bcause you are guaranteed to burn your tongue.

I guess they make those homestyle bakes things with the biscuit crust, and I think Boston Market makes a pot pie with a flakey crust, but it;'s not the same.

Sometimes for variety I used to eat th Swanson's TURKEY pot pies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swanson's chicken pot pies are really great. I haven't had one in a long time, but they were always good eats.
