Psychedelic Furs/Alarm tour

2 good bands are touring this summer, Psychedelic Furs/Alarm are playing the Downtown in Farmingdale on April 9th $25.00. I have seen the furs a couple of times and they put on a good show. It should be good show in a small venue.

I've always thought of the Alarm as U2-lite, but I saw them open for Dylan back in the day, and they did put on a great show.

Yeah, we always called them "U3" when I was back in college and hung out with the cool kids. I like "The Stand" because it was really pretentious, and I thought that it was about the Stephen King novel.

I didn't care too much for the Psychedelic Furs in concert when I saw them back in 1987. I remember a friend of mine who went with me called them "Brooding Snot Heads," and to this day that's what I think of when I think of them. I loved their music, and if hadn't had such a bad concert experience before would consider going to this retro tour.
