I can hardly contain myself. (http://tennessean.com/celebrities/archives/04/03/48813910.shtml?Element_ID=48813910)
Some Nashville folks are making a feature film about the transformation of old WWE star Sting from boozing, drugging womanizer to praising, worshipping Christian.
Spoken like a true, knowledgable fan.

This might be as good as Ready To Rumble. I was watching that interview and I realized I really don't care about Sting anymore.

Face-painting Sting, a k a Steve Borden, will play himself in the movie, though local fitness center manager Donny Fallgatter will play a younger Sting.
Also starring:
The guy working the desk at the Mobile Station as Ric Flair
The Director's cousin as Lex Luger
Some girl they found in the Piggly-Wiggly as Miss Elizabeth.

The most compelling part about that story is the fact that the writer of the column looks like a distant cousin of Val Venis:

I've seen Sting act before......and I always wondered why he didn't have a "successful" B-movie career like Piper & Hogan did.
He's no worse than they are. No better, mind you, but no worse.

Ah, if only it was in reverse... like a "Behind The Music" gone horribly, horribly awry.
And I'm not even going to touch on the "old WWE star" thing.

His turn as Hammerhead on "Thunder in Paradise"? BRILLIANT! Absolutely brilliant! :)
