Too bad. I figured he was the oldest of the original VJ's, but not THAT old. But he sure as hell brought some class and knowledge to the early days of MTV...kinda like Matt Pinfield before there was Matt Pinfield.

I had the tv on this morning and heard the report on mtv. It's sad, and I too was surprised how old he was when he passed away.
